August 06,1945 ~ November 14,2018 On November 14, 2018, Clara Sue Haas Pyle, our beloved Guma, left her pain and suffering in this world and passed into her loving Lord's arms surrounded by her family.
Clara Sue was born in Donna, Texas to George and Velma Haas on August 6, 1945. She was a graduate of Donna High School in 1963. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Angelo State University in 1992. She retired early at age 62 from Gossett, Harrison, Millican, and Stipanovic, P.C. Law Firm to care for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Haas, Sr. and Velma M. Gerber Haas; her siblings Joe E. Haas, Leila Haas Hoskinson, and George W. Haas, Jr.; great-grandchild Lovley Pyle; mother-in-love Dortha Zelena Pyle Bristol; sister-in-love Patsy Pyle McKaughan; and brothers-in-law: Myrlos Waters, Don McKaughan, Leslie Rhodes, and Alvin Hoskinson. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Susan Pyle Pittman (Dan), Michelle Pyle Service (Scott), and Renee Pyle Spieker (Tres); her grandchildren: Dorothy Pittman Yrios (Randy), Brian Pittman Grimsley (Megan), Melissa Pittman Wood (Justin), Zachary Pyle (Whitney), Devin Blair, Meagan Pittman, and Seth Blair (Rebecca); Elizabeth Williams, Dalton and Colt Service; Austin Fitzgibbon and Justin Pyle; her great-grandchildren: Randi Yrios; Kylie and Lexie Wood; Oakley, Naraa, Huxley, and Connley Pyle; Addisyn Blair and Emerson Morgan; Aiden, Abigail, and Jameson Blair; honorary daughters: Amy Adams Wolslager and Pam Kirk; honorary granddaughters: Zoie Allen and Brittany McGuire; sisters-in-love: Judy Haas Day, June Pyle Waters, Jolene Pyle Rhodes, and Barbara Pyle Waters; and many special cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family sends special thanks to Dr. John Hunt, Rio Concho Manor and Terrace, Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation, Intrepid Home Health, and Kindred Hospice for their loving care. There will be a private family memorial held at a later date.
