
David Allen Ball, Sr., 61, of San Angelo, TX passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Angelo Bible Church officiated by Bob Hall and Jim Stanley. Arrangements are by West Texas Cremation.
David was born October 25, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Franklin Ball and Charlotte Jean (Morgan) Ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jo Ellyn Ball.
David is survived by his wife of twenty years, Glenda Ball; grandson, Jonathan (of the home); son, David Ball, Jr.; step-daughter, ThaSha Black and her children, Cylie, William, Aiden and Marshall; sister, Nicki Townley; brother, Bob Welch; aunt, Mary Edwards.
He spent many hours with a very special friend, Kevin Sides, riding Harleys until he became too ill, then watching NASCAR or movies every weekend.
He suffered many years from complications from back and cancer surgeries which compromised his kidneys.
Many thanks to Dr. Anderton and Penny for years of loving care and to the Shannon ICU staff who made him as comfortable as possible.
